WITH his face paint and fur hat, Jake Angeli managed to stand out from the Capitol crowd.

The 32-year-old – pictured left in more conservative clothing with Rudy Giuliani – has become a fixture at right-wing rallies.

He is known as the QAnon Shaman, in reference to the QAnon movement fuelled by conspiracy theories – but a string of online observers confused him for Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay. The singer said yesterday: ‘Some of you may be thinking you saw me in Washington... but I’m afraid I wasn’t with all those freaks.’
