Cladding scandal

SYMPATHETIC as I am towards leaseholders affected by the cladding scandal ( Money Mail), I fail to understand why taxpayers should be expected to pay.

Leaseholders should look to freeholders, the builders who installed the cladding and its manufacturers. The taxpayer is the last resort.
