Let’s get on with life

IT’s not just the Prime Minister who needs to be guided by data not dates, it’s the scientific community as well.

Can we stop the pronouncements about mutating viruses and the claims that we may need to wear face masks and socially distance for another year or longer?

Let’s face facts: viruses mutate and vaccines can be adjusted accordingly. Mass vaccination has reduced hospital admittances and symptoms in those who catch Covid. We have to accept some people will die, just as they do every winter with the flu.

Normal life will only resume when we shrug off the fear that has been instilled into us for 12 months.

i want to live a normal life, not spend it hiding away just in case. The jab gives us the opportunity to do this, so let’s grab the opportunity with both hands.
