CZECH PRESIDENT HITS OUT AT UEFA
THE office of the Czech Republic president has accused UEFA of ‘discriminating against non-black people’ after Slavia Prague’s Ondrej Kudela was handed a 10-match ban for racially abusing Glen Kamara. In a letter addressed to UEFA’s disciplinary board, the office of Milos Zeman defended Kudela, saying the accusations against the defender were ‘unproven’. Kamara accused Slavia Prague defender Kudela of calling him a ‘f***ing monkey’ in ugly scenes that marred Rangers’ Europa League tie last month. Meanwhile, Liverpool were fined £22,000 by UEFA last night after their fans smashed Real Madrid’s bus window and set off flares ahead of Wednesday’s match at Anfield.
