Barred from every bar in the country, model who bit officer in drunken rage

- By Arthur Martin

A RUSSIAN model who drunkenly bit a police officer has been barred from all pubs and nightclubs in Britain for two years.

Irina Fedotova, 36, was ‘ highly intoxicated’ when she attacked two officers who were taking her to hospital for treatment.

She bit one on the arm as he tried to remove her handcuffs so she could receive medical care, and she later kicked a van door into another PC.

The assaults took place after the officers were called to reports of a bust-up between Fedotova and her friend Viktoria Goncharova at a house in Chelsea last October.

Fedotova, a former fashion student and model who lives in a £2million apartment in Belgravia, admitted two counts of assaulting an emergency worker at Westminster Magistrates’

‘You can’t control yourself’

Court last week. Yesterday, District Judge Michael Snow sentenced her to a two-year community order and 150 hours of unpaid work.

He also banned her from entering any pub, bar or nightclub in the country for two years.

Judge Snow told her: ‘I note that you said that you were sorry for the offence that you committed. Your apology rings pretty hollow.

‘You are a woman that can’t control yourself, you’re a woman of violence. You appear to be a person who is only concerned with yourself.’ PC Sean Nicholl and PC Alisha Dixon had arrested Fedotova for another matter before she bit PC Nicholl’s arm when the officers tried to remove her handcuffs in hospital.

And when the mother-of-one left hospital in a police van, she repeatedly kicked the doors, which flung open and hit PC Dixon.

Prosecutor Priya Varma said: ‘The defendant was clenching her fists and was shouting at an increased volume.

‘She repeatedly told officers to ‘f*** off, she had to be physically restrained in the [hospital] bed and she kept kicking out her legs towards officers.’

Fedotova faced the same court in March 2018 for mocking up a fake newspaper article to falsely accuse her ex-boyfriend of being a pervert. She was fined for carrying out a campaign of harassment against Gregory Slade in which she bombarded him with ‘sexually suggestive’ texts for four months. She was also fined in 2016 for assaulting a police constable.

Defending her actions last year, James Elvidge told the court: ‘There was a fall-out with a longstanding friend of hers.

‘She was quite badly injured, she had quite a lot of hair pulled out and there was blood everywhere – hence why she had to go to hospital. She is incredibly regretful and remorseful.’ Interjecting, Judge Snow said: ‘It was the same last time, she bit the officer because she didn’t like to be handcuffed.’

Mr Elvidge replied: ‘She has quite thin wrists and when she is handcuffed it causes quite some pain. She’s not an alcoholic, she’s not dependent on alcohol but obviously, if she drinks too much there can be problems and unfortunately, this is the second time it has happened.’ Fedotova was ordered to pay £100 to PC Nicholl, £200 to PC Dixon, costs of £320 and a victim tax of £95.
