A LOT has been written about the death and funeral of Prince Philip, Duke of edinburgh, but no mention has been made of huw edwards’s excellent coverage for the BBC.

After the announcement of the Duke’s death, he was on air seemingly all day, and again at the funeral. he remained calm throughout and — just as importantly — quiet when no words were needed. Well done, huw.
