It’s A Small World

A COUPLE of years ago my wife and I attended a talk about the history of the London Underground by a speaker from out of town. he showed us a slide of an unoccupied carriage on the Underground as it was in the 1950s. he followed it with a similar photograph of a present-day occupied carriage. The passenger in the foreground of the second photograph was not only a lady I knew, but she was actually sitting in front of me!
