THE Lotus Esprit S1 hit the peak of cool when James Bond drove one underwater in The Spy Who Loved Me. Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend are the right vintage to appreciate that and, in this new-toFreeview episode, are most excited to be restoring one. This Esprit is very far from glamorous, though, and hasn’t started for 20 years.

LOU SANDERS (pictured) is always a boon on a panel show, because you can never be sure how far she’s going to take a joke. She’s joined by Chris Kamara, Alex Jones and Kerry Godliman on Sara Pascoe’s freewheeli­ng comedy guessing show, which is particular­ly suited to her talents.

THE Coens’ remake of the 1969 classic stars Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn. The film belongs as much to Hailee Steinfeld’s Mattie, the girl out to avenge her father’s murder.
