THE well-received first series saw Steve Coogan’s inept and gaffe-prone presenter taking a seat as co-host of the spoof daytime magazine show This Time in a string of squirmingly awkward yet funny episodes. Now, Alan’s career revival continues as he’s back for a second six-part run, and returning with him are his long-suffering assistant, Lynn (Felicity Montagu), slick co-host Jennie (Susannah Fielding, pictured with Coogan), sidekick Simon (Tim Key) and reporter Ruth (Lolly Adefope). So, just how will his inflated ego get him in trouble this time around?
