Follow-up

i WAs working as a teacher when i needed to ask for time off to attend a family funeral. the head teacher was away on a course lasting several days, so his deputy gave me permission for the absence. Days later, en route to the funeral, i recognised the car in front of me: it was the head teacher, who should have been on his course elsewhere!
