Hard cheese Europe

-

THE trade agreement with the EU is a joke.

Plants, flowers, dairy and meat products can flow freely into the UK from the EU, but seemingly this does not happen in the opposite direction due to petty rules.

I live in Holland and my sister recently sent me a packet of my favourite biscuits and Yorkshire tea.

The biscuits were expounded on the grounds they contain butter. The tea had extra tax and handling charges imposed that added up to three times its value. Ban French cheese and the millions of euros worth of Dutch flowers that arrive every day in Britain and then see what happens. KARL FORSYTH-GRAY,

Amsterdam.
