Michelle isn’t one to Mone as youth are told to ‘grab a jab’

- By Health Correspondent

AFTER battling Covid earlier this year, businesswoman Michelle Mone celebrated receiving her jab yesterday.

Baroness Mone, 49, shared the image on Twitter and said: ‘Slightly late to the party but I’m finally recovered and fit enough for my first vaccine.’

It comes as anyone over 18 will be able to ‘grab a jab’ this weekend without an appointment at hundreds of walk-in sites at football stadiums, theatres, supermarket car parks and shopping centres.

Experts hope the ease of getting a jab will encourage anyone who has not yet been vaccinated to come forward.

NHS chief Sir Simon Stevens said the country was ‘now in a race to the finish line’.

He added: ‘It’s now easier than ever to get your life-saving jab and the more of us who are vaccinated, the safer and freer we all will be.’
