Should ‘privacy-loving’ Prince Harry publish his warts-and-all memoir?

-

IF PRINCE Harry is being sincere and wishes only to publish his memoirs as ‘the man I have become’, without any reference to being a Prince, then I am sure it would be a page-turner. There can be no denying he was at his happiest when he was in the Army, fighting shoulder to shoulder with his comrades or just joshing around. He was brave and dedicated while serving in Afghanistan, and showed farsightedness in setting up the Invictus Games. He excelled when he was involved whole-heartedly with charity work. So, let’s hope Harry stays true to his word and doesn’t use his book as another vehicle to criticise the Royal Family. Whether he likes to admit it or not, they have been his strength and support from birth — until he made his decision to step down from public duties and

leave for the U.S. Since then we have seen nothing but petulance, childishness and unforgiveable behaviour towards his family. The eyes of the world will be on Harry’s book, so I hope he doesn’t disappoint us.

VERONICA HALL, Potters Bar, Herts. PRInCe harry has found a new way to court publicity by publishing yet more material about his family. The agreement to leave the Royal Family and retain his privacy seems to work in his favour only because he has been allowed to retain his titles. Let harry and Meghan become plain Mr & Mrs. Then what small talent they have between them will not enable them to be sought after by the likes of oprah. It’s time the media ignored them and gave us a break from their sermonising.

Name and address supplied. SO NOW we can look forward to a book on the sad, past life of Prince Harry and what he’s had to put up with. He continues to trade on his royal title. If Harry Wales or Harry Mountbatten Windsor was the author, no one would be interested. With Meghan and their children, he should lead the quiet life out of the public eye that he says he wants. Of course, they won’t do that as they crave attention. What hypocrites!

D. TAYLOR, Newport. SeLF-CenTRed harry doesn’t appear to give a thought to the damage he’s done to his family. his warts-and-all memoirs will only cause more hurt for the Queen.

TOM LINCE, Paphos, Cyprus. OH, PLEASE, not more attentionseeking ‘truth’ from Harry. I am not interested in his tell-all book. For goodness’s sake, enough is enough. JOAN DAWSON, Grays, Essex.
