GORDON ramsay is set for a huge multimillion-pound windfall after signing a nine-figure deal with a Us broadcasting giant.

The fiery TV chef is to launch a production company with american firm Fox, which reportedly could bag him a payday of more than £100million.

The 54-year-old, who has managed to have successful careers across both sides of the atlantic, is already estimated to be worth £158million. The deal sees the launch of studio ramsay Global which will produce culinary and lifestyle programmes, with offices in London and Los angeles.

Fox is understood to have funded the purchase of the chef’s existing business studio ramsay.

The new company will be co-owned by the chef and the Us firm. The father of five has previously worked on MasterChef, MasterChef Junior and Hell’s Kitchen for the broadcaster over the last 16 years.

There were reports yesterday that the deal could represent a £107million payday for the star. But it is unclear exactly how much of any money paid by Fox will go directly to ramsay.

ramsay said: ‘This is an incredibly exciting opportunity, not just for me, but for the team at studio ramsay.

‘We’ll be creating food and lifestyle ideas, but also developing an incredible new talent pool of food, drink and industry leaders to create our own culinary talent branch.’

Charlie Collier, chief executive of Fox Entertainment, said the company is ‘honoured to build upon its long-term relationship with Gordon’. He added: ‘Gordon has been an important part of the Fox experience for years.’

studio ramsay was launched by the chef in the UK in 2016 and has produced shows such as ITV’s Gordon, Gino and Fred’s road Trip.
