COMPOSER Alan Silvestri and songwriter Glen Ballard (pictured) are an interestin­g pair of musicmaker­s. Together, they have produced great movie songs; separately, they have worked with top-rank stars, including Aerosmith and Aretha Franklin. Their latest collaborat­ion, Back To The Future: The Musical, is currently lighting up London’s West End. STRANGE grating noises and vibrations have affected U.S. and Canadian diplomats based in Cuba. The source of the noises is a mystery, but these disturbing sounds appear to cause memory and hearing loss, as well as nausea. Recently, U.S. diplomats and spies working in Vienna have reported similar symptoms.
