EMMA RADUCANU has the world at her feet following her seismic US Open victory. The British teenager received the royal seal of approval after beating Canadian Leylah Fernandez in the final at Flushing Meadow. As well as the Queen’s congratulations, the Raducanu effect attracted 9.2million viewers to Channel 4, more than the highest peak of 7.9m from Wimbledon. She is also tipped to be recognised in the next honours list and is favourite to win this year’s Sports Personality of the Year. Today Raducanu is expected to make the rounds of US TV chat shows with her Instagram profile now attracting more than a million followers, including the Chinese market as she speaks Mandarin.
