Cut red tape

There is far too much bureaucracy in the NHS, far too many fat cats at the top of a chain of management posts, far too many chiefs and not enough medical staff, and too many golden handshakes for departing managers who performed dismally. The same happens in education. There are far too many well-paid chief executive heads while the teachers work hard despite too few books, pens and glue sticks.
I don’t mind contributing to the injection of cash needed to fix the social care problem, but we need to keep an eye on where all this money is going.
