S4 plunges on £19m loss
S4 Capital shares plunged as it posted a £19m halfyear loss.
The digital advertising and marketing firm founded by advertising tycoon Sir Martin Sorrell sunk further into the red during the six months to June 30 after losing £1m over the same period last year. However, S4 still hiked its full-year profit forecast for the third time this year as the agency hailed strong demand for digital services during the pandemic.
Shares fell 3.8pc, or 31p, to 791p after the update, although they remain more than 50pc higher since the start of the year.
