WFH back on the table if cases rise during winter

-

MILLIONS of office staff could be ordered to work from home again this autumn, despite government warnings it will ‘stifle creativity’ and damage mental health.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid yesterday confirmed that working from home will form part of the Government’s ‘Plan B’ for coping with Covid if vaccinations fail to keep the virus under control in the coming months.

Mr Javid said the work-fromhome order could be reinstated for a ‘limited time’ after government scientists advised it was an effective measure for slowing the spread of the virus.
