I HEARTIlY agree with the proposal by Professor Stephen Smith, former dean of Medicine at Imperial College london, that the NHS doesn’t need money, but radical surgery (Mail).
I support his proposal that we need to start again. Politicians should not be involved and patients must be at the very heart of any new structure rather than being seen almost as an inconvenience.
As we strive to recover from the pandemic, we are emerging into a new era. It’s a good time to be bold and forward looking.
