‘You’d be amazed how much working out you can do on your computer with a couple of pounds on your arms,’ she said. WHAT TO TRY: The dumbbell front raise is a great shoulder toner. Start standing with your feet at shoulder width, holding a dumbbell or other weight in each hand at thigh level, knees slightly bent.

Raise the dumbbells in front of the body until they are parallel to the floor. Do not arch your back or lean forwards or backwards. Return the weights to the starting position to complete one repetition. Perform three sets of 15 repetition­s four times a week, gradually adding more weight.
