Tip for TV’s Ben

I ENJOY TV game show Tipping Point, but am increasingly irritated by presenter Ben Shephard.

Please can he stop commentating on every drop, stating the obvious, telling contestants 20 or more times he’ll ‘take the money and put it into their bank’ and making up corny phrases, such as ‘kamikaze drop’. It’s not The Ben Shephard Show.

A. B. MEDLEY, Wakefield, W. Yorks. CARRY on, Ben, with saying ‘snuck’ instead of sneaked (Letters). It’s an Old English word still used in the North.

J. BANCROFT, Featherstone, W. Yorks. I WISH Ben would stop calling counters hanging over the edge of the shelf ‘danglers’ and describing a fully stacked shelf as ‘well hung’.
