EVERY time an older person is involved in a road incident, the cry goes up: All over-70s must be re-tested (letters).

It’s not the 70-year-olds who bomb up motorways at 90 mph bumper to bumper, tailgate other drivers and overtake you at 50mph in a built-up area with a 30 mph limit.
