Cricketers’ Association has cancelled its in-person awards dinner, with many wondering whether the move was down to a lack of interest. The PCA are adamant they made the decision last winter because of Covid uncertainty and the financial risk, with venues needing to be booked 12 months in advance and with hefty deposits required.
