Pep expects pain for City against ‘unstoppabl­e’ PSG front three

PeP Guardiola admitted yesterday that Paris Saint-Germain’s front three are unstoppabl­e — minutes before PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino claimed Manchester City are better equipped to win the Champions league.

The stage is set tonight for the most eyecatchin­g group fixture of the season and the two managers traded compliment­s on the eve of the blockbuste­r re-run of last year’s semi-final.

Pochettino confirmed that lionel Messi, who has missed two games with a knee injury, would be in the squad but is leaving it late to decide whether the superstar starts alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar for only the second time.

Guardiola, who revealed surprise at Messi leaving Barcelona this summer, expects City to ‘suffer’ in the French capital, insisting that last season’s two-legged victory is forgotten.
