Finally ready... Adele reveals album release
AFTER a six-year wait for fans, Adele says she is ‘finally’ ready to release her new album, entitled 30, next month.
In a series of teasing posts on social media, the singer revealed the record would come out on November 19 – and posted a possible image of its cover art, pictured. She described the album as a ‘ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life’.
Adele, 33, is believed to have written it during her break-up from ex-husband, charity boss Simon Konecki. She wrote: ‘I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way... I’m ready to finally put this album out.’
Adele described the album as like a friend who comes over ‘with a bottle of wine and a takeaway to cheer me up’.
