Baiting the scammers

-

I USUALLY answer calls from unknown phone numbers with: ‘Which scammer is it today?’

however, if I need some entertainment, I tell the investment scammer I am busily spending all my money and don’t want to earn any more to leave to my ungrateful children.

I inform life insurance scammers:

‘My husband cancelled the policy in case I bump him off for his money.’

Name and address supplied. WHEN a scammer told me someone was trying to get money from my bank account, I replied I knew all about it and who it was.

Presumably thinking it was a rival scammer, he asked who it was. I replied: ‘The person I’m speaking to.’ Ow!

IAN JONES, Watford, Herts. MY DAUGHTER just scammed me for extra pocket money. Do you think the bank will reimburse me?

GUS STEWART, Upminster, Essex.
