BUICK TURNS UP HEAT IN TITLE BATTLE

WILLIAM BUICK closed the gap in the Flat jockeys’ championship with two wins at Nottingham yesterday, taking his tally to 148 victories — two behind reigning champion Oisin Murphy (left). Buick (right), was successful on Zebelle and Raasel to follow up his treble at Leicester on Tuesday. He heads to Chelmsford this evening for seven mounts, with Murphy booked for six rides. Both are at Haydock tomorrow before the championship concludes at Ascot on Saturday.
