Stop the blame game
THE easy scapegoat for the mishandling of the pandemic is the Government. Don’t hospitals and care homes have a share of the responsibility for not investing in PPE and cleaning protocols?
Instead of focusing on who to blame, surely we should be looking at how to deal with any future health crisis. Those solutions should be based on essential medical products being manufactured by British companies using local workers.
Hospitals and care homes should be required to have at least a month’s supply of PPE and cleaning materials. There should be investment in air filtration systems.
We need to stop apportioning blame and work towards ensuring a pandemic never happens again. STEPHEN MASKELL-DOBB,
