FOOTBALL Arsenal v Aston Villa, 7pm, Sky Main Event & Premier League

VILLA head to the Emirates on the back of two straight defeats, but Dean Smith’s side might fancy their chances of taking the points tonight after seeing the Gunners struggling to a 2-2 draw against Palace on Monday, when they were rescued by Alexandre Lacazette’s equaliser in the dying moments.

HIDDEN LOOT Gangster’s Gold, 8pm, PBS America

APPARENTLY, gangster Dutch Schultz hid a $50 million fortune in gold and gems. This colourful new documentary follows an effort to find it, and fleshes out Schultz’s history, including hearing from the last living member of his gang, Stanley Grauso: ‘He was a good family man.’

CRIME CAPER Leverage: Redemption, IMDb TV

IF YOU’RE looking for light, fun TV, this sequel to heist drama Leverage — showing on Amazon’s new, free on-demand service — is a good choice. Noah Wyle joins the cast as a lawyer who gets involved with the grifter gang.

Locke & Key, Netflix

THIS is one of Netflix’s best shows, but the first season flew under the radar. Jackson Robert Scott, Emilia Jones and Connor Jessup (pictured) star as the siblings who discover magical keys in their late father’s huge house in Massachusetts, and season two opens with the secrets of a deadly door set to be revealed.

NAVAL ATTACK Drain The Oceans, 9pm, 5Select

THIS episode focuses on the Spanish Armada, with plenty of insight into tactics along the way. Experts reveal how the Armada’s failed conquest in 1588 sparked England to steal Spanish ship technology to grow their empire. (Freeview 55, Freesat 133, Sky 153, Virgin 152)

INNOVATIVE ROCKER Zappa, 9pm, BBC4

BILL & TED star Alex Winter is behind this excellent new documentary about the rocker Frank Zappa. Winter and his team were granted access to unreleased music, movies, interviews and more by Zappa’s widow, Gail — who died in 2015 — and paint an intriguing portrait of both his personal and political lives.

BRUTAL BATTLE Vikings, 9pm, Sky History

WHILE the men are off posturing and electing the next King of Norway, Lagertha’s village comes under attack in a brutal but highly engaging new episode. The highlight isn’t that initial battle, though, but a do-or-die moment of single combat for Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick).

NATIONAL CRISIS COBRA: Cyberwar, 9pm, Sky Max

THE Prime Minister (Robert Carlyle, pictured) worries about further damage from the ‘Ruin Britannia’ hack as series two of Sky’s disaster drama continues. It’s a good show, generally — but what happens at the start tonight is a cheap move, when you remember how the episode ended last week for Audrey.
