No easy answers

IN WHAT system would contributions from the local council towards care count as part of the individual’s personal allowance?

Any cap on care costs is always going to favour those with greater wealth unless you make it means tested, which is not proposed.

There is no easy answer to the social care problem, but at least the Government is trying. Let’s ditch the politics of envy.
