Long-term solutions

ANYONE who wants perfection in politicians’ behaviour is being unrealistic, but we can expect competence and integrity. If they don’t have great problem-solving skills, what is the point of MPs?

Whitehall can put jobs out to tender and then there will be no doubt who to blame if things go wrong.
