HE’S tipped to be the next James Bond, and now James Norton has revealed his secret weapon.

It’s not a Walther PPK gun or an explosive watch, but a medical device.

The 35-year-old star of McMafia and Grantchester has type 1 diabetes, and he’s shown off the Dexcom device, which monitors glucose in the blood and sends messages to his phone, after a very bracing dip in Kent.

‘It requires constant care and attention as well as patience and fortitude, but occasionally can be a strange sort of support, and even a power,’ he says of his condition.
