Trapped by Covid ban

A WoMAn who flew to South Africa to attend her nephew’s funeral has criticised the Government for not giving British nationals any notice over the travel ban (Mail).

If I was in her situation, I would be furious, too. But unlike her I would accept the Government does not have a crystal ball and must rely on the best medical advice available.

It was unfortunate for her that the announcement of the ban came at the time it did, but she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’m afraid that’s life.
