Harry’s ex-aide in royal return
CLARA LOUGHRAN was among those unfortunate courtiers who lost their jobs when Prince Harry and Meghan quit royal duties and moved to the U.S.
Yesterday, however, she made an emotional return to a royal residence to collect a gong.
Clara, who was one of Harry’s closest aides, was presented with her insignia of the Royal Victorian Order at Windsor Castle by Princess Anne, on behalf of the Queen. Clara was in charge of project management for the Sussexes, having previously worked for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Clara, now a partner in a business that ‘links influential people and organisations to good causes’, was watched at Windsor by her husband, Nick Loughran, who also used to be a palace aide.
