Boss fired over expenses

A COMPANY that helps fund legal cases has sacked its executive vice chairman for gross misconduct.

Litigation Capital Management (LCM) fired Nick Rowles-Davies yesterday after the ‘identification of certain expenses claims’ that were made ‘in contravention’ with its policies.

Rowles-Davies was also removed from the company’s board of directors.

LCM chief financial officer Mary Gangemi said that the fallout would not significantly impact the firm’s financial performance.

Analysts at house broker Investec agreed, saying they did not think the sacking will have ‘a material impact on the business’.
