SOMEONE handsome who’s in

good shape. Loyalty, honesty and integrity are important.

DATING PAST?

Married for ten years, my ex and i divorced 11 years ago after we grew apart. i’ve been dating on and off since, but sadly i’ve had no luck in finding Mr Perfect so far. i’m looking to settle down after living alone for so long.

PRE-DATE NERVES?

i was nervous, but mostly excited. Because of my job, i am always in leggings and trainers, so when i go out, i like to make an effort and dress up. i wore a black mini-dress and heels.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS?

dave was wearing a smart purple shirt and was lovely when i arrived. He gave me a card which said, ‘Hello you, hope you have a fun day and enjoy the date’, which i thought was sweet of him.

EASY TO TALK TO?

Yes, very. He was pleasant company. we talked about my work quite a lot and i told him how important it is that people eat well, exercise and look after themselves.

dave is quite funny and tried to make me laugh, so the date was very relaxed. He is an independent thinker and has strong opinions on topics such as vaccines and spirituality.

we are both into mindfulness, and i thought it was interesting when he told me he had learned to eat mindfully. Growing up he was always told to eat up and eat fast, but now he tries to eat calmly and slowly and thoughtfully.

EMBARRASSING MOMENTS?

THE crown of his tooth fell out during lunch, which could have been embarrassing, but i just thought it was funny and told him to call his dentist.

DID SPARKS FLY?

i don’T think he was flirting with me and i didn’t sense any romantic spark between us. it’s a shame because he has a nice heart.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO MEET AGAIN?

no. IT was a really nice experience, but there was simply no chemistry. we didn’t exchange phone numbers after the date, but he’s a sweet man and i hope he finds the right person for him because he deserves to be happy.

WHAT DO YOU THINK HE THOUGHT OF YOU?

i Have no idea. He never said anything about what he thought of me, or paid me any compliments.

WOULD YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS LIKE HIM?

THEY would think exactly the same as i say — he’s a lovely person, but not for me.
