RESEARCH interviewer. WOULD LIKE TO MEET

SOMEONE who is deep and spiritually aware, playful and fun. I’m not into judgmental people.

DATING PAST?

MY LAST relationship was for nine months and ended about ten months ago. Before that i was single for three years. My longest relationship lasted just over two years and i’ve had a few that lasted six to 12 months.

PRE-DATE NERVES?

UNUSUALLY for me, yes. Maybe because this was my first date since my previous relationship ended.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS?

i arrived first and when silvia walked in, i thought she was stunning. she looks young for her age and is picture perfect, like a model. we greeted each other warmly with a continental kiss on each cheek.

EASY TO TALK TO?

THE conversation was chatty enough and silvia is a warm person, but i felt a lot of the chat was very superficial and we didn’t have time to delve deeper. she is passionate about her lifestyle and i almost felt a little lectured, but i admire someone who cares about what they do. although we are both into mindfulness, we didn’t have too much else in common. But we chatted about family and jobs and it was a pleasant date.

EMBARRASSING MOMENTS?

i’M NOT sure if it was because of the differences in our backgrounds and her eastern european culture, but i felt she didn’t get my sense of humour.

at the end of the date i told her it was lovely to meet her and i had only one question: ‘will you marry me?’ i thought she was going to pass out!

DID SPARKS FLY?

no. THERE was no chemistry at all. we didn’t hit any raw nerves with each other, but we didn’t spark any fires either. she’s a beautiful woman, but i’m more into a mind connection.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO MEET AGAIN?

no. IT wasn’t a bad date, but we didn’t have much in common and didn’t even bond as friends.

WHAT DO YOU THINK SHE THOUGHT OF YOU?

i FOUND her hard to read, but from the vibe i got i’d say we both felt neutral. she wasn’t running away from

me but she wasn’t flirting either.

WOULD YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS LIKE HER?

POSSIBLY. she is a lovely person and her lifestyle fits in with my crowd in terms of mindfulness and exercise.
