‘Liar’ painted on MP’s office
A TORY MP has revealed his constituency office has been vandalised for a second time in recent months with ‘liar’ daubed on the window in black paint.
Peter Bone, the MP for Wellingborough since 2005, called for an urgent debate into security for politicians following the incident yesterday.
It comes as the Government is mired in allegations of Covid rule breaking and sleaze. He told the House of Commons: ‘This morning, my office was yet again was vandalised. It is not fair on my staff... and others who have suffered similarly.’
In November, Mr Bone said the words ‘Tory sleaze’ were painted on his constituency office amid the standards row over Owen Paterson.
