Gracing the stage

WhAT nonsense about only Jewish actors being allowed to play Jewish characters (Mail).

For more than 40 years as an actor in an amateur drama club, I performed in London theatres.

At the Minack open-air theatre in Cornwall, I played the Archbishop of Canterbury in the play Richard Of

Bordeaux by Gordon Daviot. I take delight in being the one and only Jewish Archbishop of Canterbury!
