UPON retirement, he was South Africa’s record wicket-taker in both Tests (330 at an average of 22.25) and ODIs (272 at 21.78). Shaun Pollock subsequently overtook both records.
DONALD is now a commentator for SABC in South Africa. He has worked as a bowling consultant for England, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka, and has coached at Warwickshire — where he starred as an overseas player for 14 seasons — and Kent.
