HE famously hails from Suffolk, but could Ed Sheeran have long-lost family in Slovakia?
Judging by the similarity between the Shape of You singer and the Slovakian great-aunt in this photo, it’s certainly possible.
A student noticed the surprising resemblance at a family reunion in Slovakia where relatives were gathering pictures for a family tree.
Upon closer inspection of a photo of his grandmother’s sister, Eduard Hromkovic recalled: ‘I was instantly like, “This is literally Ed Sheeran”.’
Mr Hromkovic, 23, from Copenhagen, is not in contact with his great aunt but believes she is in her 80s and lives near Prague. He thinks she is aged around 19 in the photo.
He added: ‘As far as I know, there is no connection to Ed whatsoever, despite the fact she looks exactly like him.’
