BRITISH Airways has a flash sale of shorthaul flights to Europe that runs until the end of Monday. Up to 750,000 seats are available on selected dates up to December 2022. Bargain fares include Heathrow to Prague from £33 and Gatwick to Venice from £30, both one way (ba.com).

TURKEY SAVINGS

TURKISH carrier Corendon Airlines is offering an Early Bird discount on flights from five UK airports to destinations in Turkey and Greece — if booked by January 31. The saving is 25 per cent for travel between April 1 and June 15, and 15 per cent between June 16 and October 31.

Routes include a daily service from Gatwick to Antalya, a twice-weekly flight from Glasgow to Dalaman and a thrice-weekly flight from Manchester to Crete (corendonairlines.com).

UNITED RETURNS

UNITED Airlines will resume daily nonstop flights between Edinburgh and New York Newark on March 5. Daily services to Chicago and Washington will follow on May 7. The airline offers onward connections to 129 destinations in the Americas (united.com).

FREE LOUNGE PASS

ON THE Beach is offering a free UK airport lounge pass and fast track through security to customers who book a package holiday for a week or more staying in four or five star accommodation. It covers bookings leaving between May 1 and October 31 (onthebeach.co.uk).

GATWICK BOOST

WIZZ AIR is expanding its operations at Gatwick with the launch of seven new routes on March 27. These include flights to Vienna, Milan, Rome and Naples from £8.99 one way. Additional connections starting in April include a daily flight to Larnaca, from £17.99 one way, and a summer service to Mykonos from £26.99 one way (wizzair.com).

PLAY IN THE USA

ICELANDIC low-cost airline PLAY is offering cut-price fares from Stansted to the U.S. flying via Reykjavik. Departures to Baltimore/Washington launch on April 20 and to Boston on May 11, with tickets to the former from £275 (flyplay.com).
