Oh no, not more gloomy TV dramas!
WHY have all the TV dramas and documentaries broadcast since the New Year been dominated by disaster, murder and horrific crimes? Though many have been excellent, do we really need to have these depressing plotlines bunched together in the first couple of weeks of 2022? I was looking forward to Rules Of The Game, starring Maxine Peake, and the new series of The Bay, but they are less than cheerful viewing, to say the least. Is it really too much to ask broadcasters to give us some cheer for the new year?
