WINDOW WATCH

- By SIMON JONES

÷CRYSTAL PALACE have placed a £12million valuation on Christian Benteke following an enquiry from Burnley. Manager Sean Dyche, whose side have dropped to the bottom of the Premier League, is on the look out for striking reinforcements following the shock departure of Chris Wood to Newcastle for £25m last week. Benteke is said to be reluctant to join the Turf Moor club but Palace are open to selling the 31-year-old Belgian this month.

■WOLVES are close to signing Estoril winger Chiquinho in a £4.2m deal. The 21-year-old can play on the right or left flank, giving coach Bruno Lage options if Tottenham prove successful in their bid to sign Adama Traore. Chiquinho, a Portugal Under 21 international is expected to sign a four-and-a-half year contract. He is scheduled to fly to England today. Wolves still want a centre back and will listen to offers for Willy Boly, 30, who is recovering from a calf injury.

÷DERBY captain Tom Lawrence is expected to leave on a free transfer before the end of the window. Burnley, Norwich City and Watford are all monitoring the forward, 28, who scored twice in Derby’s 2-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday. Meanwhile, Derby have accepted a £30,000 offer from Wigan Athletic for midfielder Graham Shinnie.
