Poetry, not parties for young Boris

-

RACHEL JoHnson has come to the Prime Minister’s aid in his hour of need.

Boris’s sister claims he would never have been partying during lockdown — because he’d far rather be declaiming verse.

‘I can tell you from the bottom of my heart he has never once turned to me or another member of the family and said, “Let’s have a party”,’ says the broadcaster, 56, who hosts a radio show on LBC.

‘He would say, “let’s play reading”, when we were growing up, or, “let’s play who can memorise the most poems”.’ Hmm, doth she protest too much? At least this intervention is more helpful than the one she made a couple of weeks ago, when she revealed that her brother was on touching terms with Ghislaine Maxwell when they were both students at Balliol College, oxford.
