WHILE we’re wrapped up at home and worrying about our heating bills, Britain’s wildlife is also bracing for the cold. From their base at Wild Ken Hill in Norfolk, Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan (pictured near right) will be observing bird and animal life after dark. On the Isle of Mull, Iolo Williams (far right) takes in impressive views of white-tailed and golden eagles, otters and deer. The third base for this week’s series is in Northern Ireland, where, at Castle Espie wetland reserve in County Down, Megan McCubbin looks out for whooper swans, barn owls and winter moths.
