THERE’S a touch of 1980s movies such as The Goonies to CBBC’s new drama set at a summer camp, all 13 parts of which come to iPlayer today. It’s good all-round family viewing — the children feel like real people, and the mystery is good enough to pull adults in, too.

IF YOU’VE seen CBBC’s Dodger, then stop number one in tonight’s new episode will be familiar — it’s Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire, where we first meet Dodger. Shini Somara explores the positives and negatives of such early factories, and then shows us an airship hangar in Rio.

NEW DRAMA Life And Death In The Warehouse, 9pm, BBC3

THIS new drama is inspired by real stories of work in warehouses, so it’s horrifying that it feels more like an episode of Black Mirror. Aimee-Ffion Edwards (pictured) stars as Megan, who is managing her old friend, Alys. Alys’s work rate is slipping, but she also has a medical condition . . .

CELEBRITY CONTEST The Real Dirty Dancing, 9pm, E4

PASSION IS the word in episode five of the contest as the celebritie­s improvise a dance routine inspired by the racy Cry To Me scene in Dirty Dancing. Things also get a bit physical between the boys as they re-create a fight scene.

COMEDY HORROR Shining Vale, Starzplay (via Prime Video

COURTENEY COX plays an author struggling with her second novel in this simmeringl­y spooky comedic tale. Her family life is messy — mostly because she slept with a handyman — and a new start in an old home could provide inspiratio­n, or possibly demonic possession . . .

LOST CIVILISATI­ON Hunting Atlantis, 10pm, Quest

STEL PAVLOU thinks he’s cracked the secret of Atlantis, and his enthusiasm for the hunt in this new series is infectious. Pavlou is joined by volcanolog­ist Jess Phoenix and, in part one, a dive leads the duo to some promising structures.

THRILLER REPEAT Flesh And Blood, 11.05pm, ITV3

A NIGHTLY repeat for ITV’s four-part drama about the secrets of a widow and her three messed-up children, plus a suspicious-looking boyfriend and their neighbour (a butter-wouldn’tmelt Imelda Staunton). At the end of part one, the question of what is really going on will likely pull you back.
