The party’s over

IT’S sad that labour thinks Partygate will see them gain power.

Inflation is 7 per cent, energy costs are through the roof, working people are thousands of pounds poorer and pensioners are struggling, but we have no idea how labour will deal with these issues. Sir Keir Starmer seems incapable of getting across his policies on these issues, or perhaps he doesn’t have any.

Where was the fuss when Tony Blair took this country into a needless war in Iraq based on lies and deceit?

It’s time to move on from Partygate. Boris has done much good for this country and I’ve no doubt he can deliver a great deal more.

If Boris has lied then he has to face the consequences, but how can you compare it to Blair’s lies?
