FOR all we know, this being radio, historian Lucy Worsley (pictured) may have dressed up as the rich, beautiful Florence Bravo for this first in a new series about murderous women. As we’ve seen on TV, Lucy likes a rummage through the costume department, and she lays on the drama as she delivers this account of a Victorian scandal about an unhappy wife with a lively sex life, a bullying husband and a supply of poison. Lucy wallows in the lurid details and gets just a tad too much pleasure in pronouncing murder as MURRDER!
